Posting rules
A post is removed, and a poster may be blocked, when it breaks one:
- Show the pay. A real range (minimum and maximum), in dollars. No "commission only" and no "pay to be discussed".
- A real, open job at a named shop. No placeholder posts to collect resumes; recruiters name the shop they hire for. Tell us whether the post is for an existing vacancy.
- No discrimination. Do not prefer or exclude applicants on grounds the Ontario Human Rights Code protects, such as race, ancestry, place of origin, colour, ethnic origin, citizenship, creed, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, gender expression, age, marital status, family status or disability.
- No "Canadian experience" requirement. We understand Ontario's employment standards rules for job postings stop many employers from asking for it, and we apply this to every post.
- Tell applicants whether AI is used to screen them.
- No MLM, no commission-only, no pay-to-work (training fees, tool purchases as a condition of hiring), no jobs outside the trade.
- One job per post; don't repost the same job to stay at the top: renew it instead.
Posts are reviewed before they go live.
